Ayodele Omowumi – CAMAP Project Coordinator
Ayodele Omowumi holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, a Bachelor of Technology degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, and a Certificate in Agribusiness and Soil Conservation from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Before joining AATF he worked for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, Nigeria where he was the Coordinator for Cassava Value Chain Enhancement Project. Prior to that, he was a Research Supervisor in the same Institute. Prior to that Ayodele worked at Florie Renny Farms in Ilorin as Business Development Officer. He was a National Volunteer facilitating improved access to qualitative education and secured livelihoods in North Central Nigeria under Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). Ayodele is a member of the Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON) and the Rural Sociological Association of Nigeria. As the CAMAP Project Coordinator based in Kwara State, Nigeria, he is responsible for coordination of all project activities, including sustainable access and delivery of appropriate cassava production and processing technologies to farmers. Ayodele is a national of Nigeria.
