Caroline W. Muchiri – Associate Legal Officer

Caroline W. Muchiri, an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holds a Master of Laws Degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Laws from Moi University; a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Kenyatta University. Before joining AATF, Caroline was practicing as an Advocate in the Firm of Simba & Simba Advocates, Nairobi where she was the Head of Intellectual Property Division. Prior to holding this position, she worked, in the same firm, as an Associate Advocate in the Commercial, Conveyancing and Litigation Departments. Caroline is a Member of the Law Society of Kenya, the East Africa Law Society, and is currently pursuing admission to the Rwandan Bar Association and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenyan Branch. At AATF, Caroline is responsible for the management of various AATF intellectual property matters, review of various types of agreements and contracts between AATF and third parties, provision of advisory opinions on various matters, advising on the Kenyan law, management of the Contract Life Cycle Management, and generally assisting the Director Legal Affairs in execution of his office mandate.
